Geelong Region FIAP member, Headspace, was highlighted in a Geelong Times post last week (April 18th 2023).
Centre Manager Tenille Favazza and Team Leader Nikki Griggs are pictured proudly holding the Statement of Commitment to the Geelong Region ‘Build’ FIAP at the Launch on March 30th. Headspace and 17 other Geelong Region local organisations are signatories of the Statement of Commitment, confirming their support for the next phase of financial wellbeing and inclusion in the region.
The Geelong Times article reads:
“HEADSPACE Geelong is proud to have committed to enhancing financial inclusion, resilience and wellbeing in Australia by assisting young people in knowing where to turn if they experience financial hardship through the Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP)…”
We aim to continue to build on these actions to include supporting the young people we serve, their families and the community, as well as our staff in financial literacy and capabilities in the coming years.
We know that financial hardship can affect anyone and have significant impacts on people’s mental and physical health and well-being, which is why it is vital that we continue to work together to provide genuine support for those who need it.
– Tenille Favazza for the Geelong Times article.
