HESTA is one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, with over 1 million members over $88b in assets under management. HESTA is a specialist industry super fund with deep connections to health and community services and those who, like them, make our world better.

Around 80% of HESTA’s members are women, and HESTA’s FIAP actions represent a strong focus on advocacy for women’s economic security.

HESTA believes financial security shouldn’t be just for a lucky few. Financial exclusion can mean people have difficulty accessing things most of us take for granted. People impacted by financial exclusion also have a higher likelihood of experiencing financial hardship and stress. Women are among those most likely to be impacted.

HESTA is committed to building the financial wellbeing of our members and Australian society more generally. That’s why, in 2016, they were the first industry fund to launch a Financial Inclusion Action Plan (FIAP).
