ANZ is one of the founding members of the FIAP program, and have a strong history of supporting financial inclusion in Australia.
ANZ’s purpose is “to help shape a world where people and communities thrive”. As well as a commitment to have fair and responsible banking at the core of their sustainability approach, ANZ has supported thousands through initiatives such as SaverPlus and MoneyMinded. They continue to increase the level of understanding of financial wellbeing through their quarterly publication of the Financial Wellbeing Indicators. Their 2019 FIAP Plan is integrated closely with their Accessibility and Inclusion Plan.
“ANZ’s focus on financial wellbeing presents an opportunity to refresh our approach across a range of initiatives. We aspire to build the financial wellbeing of all of our customers, employees and the wider community, and we are committed to the design of products and services that are accessible to all and support this goal. It is also important that we continue to focus on financial inclusion for disadvantaged and vulnerable people in the community.” – Fred Ohlsson, Group Executive, Australia, ANZ
